The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D was originally going to have a reworked soundtrack

While the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D has received a few graphical upgrades, it seems that it was originally going to get a sound overhaul as well. According to Mahito Yokota, the original plan was to update the music. Tracks were re-arranged and brought up-to-date, but then Koji Kondo stepped in and asked that the music stayed faithful to the original sound design.
