Antipole release date pushed back

Coming from the Twitter account of Saturnine Games...

A little bad news on Antipole DSiWare - looks like it'll be at least July before it gets released.

No reason was given for the delay, but it looks like we'll have to wait a few more weeks...

What Will The Big Three Have In Store For E3 2011?

In my opinion, I predict to see Nintendo's E3 going as follows:

-Nintendo will discuss how and why the Wii isn't dead, showing off some new titles, localizations, and Skyward Sword release date.
-A bunch of 3DS software
-Then Nintendo will go on about how they're always looking towards the future and unveil Project Cafe.

What about you? Chime in with what you think in the comments. In the meantime see what GI thinks here.

Pixel discusses the 5-year process of making Cave Story

A portion of an IndieGames transcript from a meeting of various game creators/composers, including Pixel...

Darren Korb, audio director for SuperGiant Games: For Cave Story, you did everything, right? It's hard for me to imagine, as a clueless audio guy who knows very little about programming, how so many disciplines could be combined together. How long did you spend developing Cave Story?

Pixel: It took five years. I was a salaryman at the time, so I went to work during the day and at night made progress on the game very gradually. Also, I was working on a lot of other game ideas during that time. There was a lot of art and music produced in those five years, and I was preoccupied by a lot of things that had nothing to do with game design. It's not that I didn't have any interest in doing something similar to Baiyon, announcing new titles and selling them online, but I simply didn't have the resources available. To make a living I had a job and only made games in my spare time.

Mighty Milky Way - Review

A portion of an iNintendo review...

Mighty Milky Way could definitely be one of the last great games on the DSiWare service before the advent of the Nintendo 3DS eShop. With its charming level design, brilliant soundtrack and very inventive gameplay, it's worth the 800 point plunge. Go ahead and jump in.

Mutant Mudds Twitter account has some interesting info posted up. The same goes for Jools Watsham's personal account...

Hi, Max here. I have located new lands inhabited by Mutant Mudds. I am told my discoveries will be revealed at an exposition in early June.
I am designing levels for Mutant Mudds. These levels will be playable at E3... if you can find me there.

It'll be interesting to see what becomes of this...
