As announced by some game sites, the Japanese release date of La-Mulana will be June 21st. La-Mulana will be released in Japan prior to other regions.
To our fans, you just have to wait a tiny big longer. We’re sorry, but we’re, of course, doing our best to deliver La-Mulana to you as soon as possible. Currently, we are done with the final check and just waiting for the release date to be determined. We will announce it as soon as we find out, so please wait a little bit more! Additionally, although a date has to be announced, we can confirm (again) that La-Mulana will also be available in Australia.
We are now working on the final check for NA/EU versions. It has been a little delayed due to the different processing systems that we are not quite familiar with. We will announce the release date as soon as we possible, so please wait a little bit more!

REVIEW - FAST Racing League
In case you haven't been in the Know, FAST Racing League is the newest game from Shin'en. The very same developers that brought us the lovely Nanostray for the DS and even Jett Rocket and the Art of Balance on WiiWare in the past. What FAST Racing League does is strap you down inside a futuristic racing ship and blast you off at speeds exceeding 200mph. Sound slightly familiar, you say? Well, that's because in some ways it is. That doesn't mean it isn't fresh, however...

What Will The Big Three Have In Store For E3 2011?
In my opinion, I predict to see Nintendo's E3 going as follows:
-Nintendo will discuss how and why the Wii isn't dead, showing off some new titles, localizations, and Skyward Sword release date.
-A bunch of 3DS software
-Then Nintendo will go on about how they're always looking towards the future and unveil Project Cafe.
What about you? Chime in with what you think in the comments. In the meantime see what GI thinks here.

Pixel discusses the 5-year process of making Cave Story
A portion of an IndieGames transcript from a meeting of various game creators/composers, including Pixel...
Darren Korb, audio director for SuperGiant Games: For Cave Story, you did everything, right? It's hard for me to imagine, as a clueless audio guy who knows very little about programming, how so many disciplines could be combined together. How long did you spend developing Cave Story?
Pixel: It took five years. I was a salaryman at the time, so I went to work during the day and at night made progress on the game very gradually. Also, I was working on a lot of other game ideas during that time. There was a lot of art and music produced in those five years, and I was preoccupied by a lot of things that had nothing to do with game design. It's not that I didn't have any interest in doing something similar to Baiyon, announcing new titles and selling them online, but I simply didn't have the resources available. To make a living I had a job and only made games in my spare time.

Beamdog explains how they fit MDK2 on WiiWare, future Nintendo support and thoughts on 3DS
NWR: The Wii Remote and Nunchuk controls feel very natural. What do
they bring to the experience? Did you consider supporting the Classic Controller?
CT: The Wii Remote and Nunchuk make MDK2 and incredibly pleasant experience. At the start of development I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out, but after a few attempts it felt really good. I played straight through the whole game and really enjoyed it, standard controllers don't even come close. As for the Classic Controller, it wasn't a consideration.
TO: This was our first Wii title, so we wanted to make a title which played to the strengths of the console. We felt the Classic Controller wouldn't really capitalize on the strengths of the Wii as a platform and as such, didn't excite us as much as the potential of the Wiimote. Cameron did the tuning on the controls personally and I think you can agree they game plays very well with the Wiimote.
NWR: Are there plans to offer a WiiWare demo at some point?
TO: We've discussed the concept of a WiiWare demo, but with the potential short life of a demo in the WiiWare service we just can't justify the time it would take to develop.
