Nintendo patent shows off tech that turns Wiimote into touch pad

- accessory to slide onto a Wiimote
- turns the controller into a touch pad
- accomplishes this through use of mirrors
- when you touch the pad, an infrared LED turns on
- the amplified beams from the LED bounce off the mirror
- this is interpreted by the controller as position data
- don't touch the pad to use the Wiimote in its traditional sense

Don't forget, just because the patent exists does not mean that Nintendo will ever actually produce it or that anything will ever come from it. A lot of these are merely experiments.
