The fighting in this game is the definition of easy to learn yet hard to master. If you’ve got the time and the agility to string combos together and learn the rock, paper, scissors part of the game you’re going to find a really deep, engaging game that you’ll come back to again and again. It may not be the best fighting game out there, or on the 3DS, but it’s a very solid one and a great introduction to the series for Nintendo owners who haven’t played it yet.
